"Bio-chem suits found in London mosque"

Police investigating an Islamic terror plot have discovered "chemical warfare protection suits" in a north London mosque, according to a report in tomorrow's edition of Australia's Herald Sun newspaper. The discovery at the Finsbury Park mosque seems to confirm investigators' worst fears - that supporters of terror kingpin Osama bin Laden have been plotting a massive biological or chemical attack on British civilians. According to the report, both Scotland Yard and British Intelligence agency MI5 had tried to conceal the discovery of the nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) suits, fearing public disclosure would spark panic in that country. Law enforcement had revealed early on the seizure of assorted weapons including a stun gun and a gas canister - but not the existence of the protective suits. But today detectives confirmed they were having the NBC suits found in the mosque tested for traces of ricin or other toxic agents. Incredibly, British government officials have warned recently that even suggesting the Finsbury Park mosque was involved in harboring or supporting terrorists "would have worrying racist overtones," noted the Herald Sun. Yet, in November, Sheik Abu Hamza, long affiliated with Finsbury Park, was caught on film urging his followers to kill non-Muslim-particularly Americans - and to commit other acts of terrorism. As WorldNetDaily reported at the time, in a tape converted to digital files and smuggled onto the Internet, Hamza tells an audience that non-believers should be killed or sold into slavery. "If a kafir person (non-believer) goes in a Muslim country, he is like a cow," explains Hamza. "Anybody can take him. That is the Islamic law." "If a kafir is walking by and you catch him, he's booty," he says on one tape. "You can sell him in the market. Most of them are spies. And even it they don't do anything, if Muslims cannot take them and sell them in the market, you kill them. It's OK." Praising the al-Qaida bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania that killed 224 people, Hamza adds: "If Muslims are having war against these people, than yes, it is legitimate" to kill them. He also praised attacks against ships from non-Muslim countries: "If a ship which loses its way and comes to a Muslim land, they'll take it as booty." In fact, the 2000 terrorist attack on the USS Cole killed, which killed 17 American sailors, has been linked to Muslim militants in Britain. But Hamza has never been charged. We confronted with such charges, Hamza scoffs, saying he can't be accused of inciting people to commit violent acts because he's a cleric who preaches Muslim law. "I say reality that's in the Muslim books anyway. Whether I say it or not, it's in the books."

"Muslim website warns of imminent attack"

Jihad fighters wait only for 'permission from heroic commander'

Posted: February 27, 2003

A terrorist attack will strike the United States within the next week, according to an Islamist website.

The site, published a religious exhortation on Monday claiming that "the train of death is on its way" within 10 days, and " nothing will stop its riders," according to a translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute, or MEMRI.

The author, who used the moniker "The Prince of Philosophy," claimed that the attack is imminent and only an order from a commander is needed before it is carried out.

Two pictures of Osama bin Laden were posted with the exhortation - one with an image of the World Trade Center in flames - hinting of a possible connection to bin Laden's
al-Qaida network, MEMRI said.

The writer said it is a "little more then 10 or less until we hear the cry announcing to us the good tidings of Allah's victory [coming] by the hands of our brethren, the jihad fighters. This is a serious matter and not a joke".

"The operations have already been set," the pronouncement says, "and the lions have taken their positions and everything is complete. They are only waiting for permission from the heroic commander."

MEMRI said the website is registered to Paris-based "AlFajr," and its technical contact is listed as DomainValet Support Department, located in Bellevue, Wash.

The following is the main part of the exhortation:
"Allah Akbar [Allah is the greatest], Allah Akbar. Here is victory appearing in the horizon.

"Allah Akbar, here is the dawn of Islam that has arrived to bring an end to the night of unbelief, collaboration [with foreign powers] and hypocrisy.

"The operations have already been set and the lions have taken their positions and everything is complete. They are only waiting for permission from the heroic commander.

"Whatever the enemy may do, he will never be able, Allah willing, to thwart anything. The brigades for the main missions are ready. They are supported be their brethren, members of the supporting brigades and the reserve brigades. The alternative plans are ready.

"Hence, whatever the enemy of Allah may do, he shall not be able to harm us, Allah willing.

"The train of death is on its way. Its riders are steadfast. Nothing will stop them or turn them back, Allah willing, from the goal: Neither the bushes of the enemy nor his weeds, neither his reptiles [nor] his lizards will stop its progress.

"Oh Allah, this is America … destroy it and shake it and all who walk in its line and entrenches with it… . There is no god but you, the exalted…. ."

Feds expose Florida 'cell'

University instructors arrested, tied to Palestinian Islamic Jihad

A university professor was arrested by federal agents in Tampa early this morning and charged, along with seven others, with operating a criminal racketeering enterprise that provides material support to terrorist.

Sami al-Arian, a tenured computer engineering professor at the University of South Florida, and two other current and former instructors at the college are accused of setting up a terror cell at USF in a 50-count indictment handed down by a Florida grand jury.

Al-Arian founded a religious charity, the Islamic Concern Project Inc. in 1998, the federal authorities now say has been funneling money and providing organizational support to the international terrorist organization Palestinian Islamic Jihad since 1984.

"We make no distinction between those who carry out terrorist attacks and those who knowingly finance, manage or supervise terrorist organizations. We will bring justice to the full network of terror," said Ashcroft.

"Palestinian Islamic Jihad"

"Palestinian Islamic Jihad is one of the most violent terrorist organizations in the world," Ashcroft said.

The indictment describes a document discovered in the course of the investigation, in which the group declares it "rejects any peaceful solution to the Palestinian cause" and affirms the "jihad solution" and the "martyrdom style" as the only choice for liberation. "Martyrdom" is code for suicide bombings.

This manifesto also refers to the United States as the "Great Satan America" and indicates that the only purpose for the Islamic Jihad is to destroy Israel and end all Western influence in the region.

The indictment sites specific car bombings, suicide bombings and drive-by shootings carried out by the Islamic Jihad dating back to 1994, in which more than 100 people were killed.

The most recent attack was in a Jun. 5, 2002, suicide bombing in Haifa, Israel, that killed 20 and injured 50.

The indictment also describes other Islamic Jihad-assisted terrorist attacks and outlines what the eight named did in the U.S. to both organize and fund Islamic Jihad.

Ashcroft said the terrorist activities of these men were detailed in part in now-declassified national security wiretaps.

"The future is Muslim, European or American"

The world's future is being decided at this time.

Though most people ignore the fact, almost all of the world's believing Muslims believe that all of mankind should be Muslim. This, in and of itself, is not troubling - after all, most Christians would like the whole world to be Christian, and most westerners would like the whole world to be democratic. What is troubling is that if only 10 percent of these Muslims are prepared to use violence to impose their religion on others, we are talking about 100 million people.

This is the reason about 1 million non-Muslim Sudanese have been killed in the last 15 years - because they are resisting the violent imposition of Islam by the Islamic government in Khartoum. This is the reason for the Muslim-Christian violence in Nigeria - Christians there, too, are resisting the violent imposition of Islam. And this is the reason for Islamic terror - to weaken those countries, particularly the United States and Israel, that stand in the way of an Islamic takeover.

"FBI agent says bureau muzzling him"

Counter-terror investigator claims Muslim allowed to hinder probes.

An FBI counter-terrorism agent claims he is being silenced by his agency to cover up its mishandling of a pre-Sept. 11 probe into alleged supporters of Osama bin Laden. Chicago-based Special Agent Robert Wright received a rejection letter yesterday from the head of the FBI's public affairs office in response to his request to disclose details of his charges. One of Wright's claims is that the FBI allowed a Muslim agent to hinder an investigation due to religious loyalties and sensitivities, reflecting a pattern of conduct by the agency that has harmed the nation's security. Wright said he also discovered later that this same agent hindered a probe of University of South Florida professor Sami Al-Arian, who was arrested last month on terror-related charges. WorldNetDaily obtained a copy of the letter from FBI public affairs chief Michael P. Kortan, which argues that the information Wright wants to make public includes sensitive and classified material related to pending cases. "That's nonsense," Wright's attorney David Schippers told WorldNetDaily. "Everything Bob's got is public. He's got it documented with public sources." Wright claims investigation in 1999 of Yassin Qadi - later named by the government as a key financial backer of al-Qaida-ran into a roadblock when Special Agent Abdel-Hafiz refused to wear a wire to record a meeting with a Muslim businessman connected to Qadi. According to Wright, Abdel-Hafiz stated in his defense, "A Muslim does not record another Muslim."

No place to turn

In his letter, Kortan noted that the federal whistleblower statute allows FBI employees to disclose sensitive information to the attorney general, FBI director, deputy FBI director and the Office of Professional Responsibility. Schippers said Wright filed a formal complaint with the inspector general of the Justice Department in October 2001, shortly after the Sept. 11 attacks, but was told he should take his case to Congress. "When I asked them why they weren't going to do it, they told me that it was because they didn't have the facilities to conduct such an investigation," said Schippers, who headed the U.S. House of Representatives' 1998 impeachment inquiry of President Bill Clinton. "This whole thing is insanity," Schippers said. "There is some reason the FBI doesn't want Bob to talk." … Wright said that while working with the international terrorist squad at the Chicago office in 1999, he learned that Qadi - who had become the subject of an investigation - had asked Abdel-Hafiz to meet for a discussion about the probe. Qadi's connection with Abdel-Hafiz came about through the businessman's accountant, who was a personal friend of the Muslim agent. The U.S. Attorney's office agreed that it would be valuable for Abdel-Hafiz to wear a wire to record the meeting, but the Muslim agent objected. In a telephone conference that included Wright, a fellow FBI special agent, three U.S. attorneys and the Dallas office supervisor, Abdel-Hafiz explained why he would not wear a wire or meet in a specially equipped room, according to Wright. Abdel-Hafiz first said he feared for his safety, the affidavit said. When told that the FBI would give protection, Abdel-Hafiz said he did not trust the agency to protect him, according to Wright. After a U.S. attorney continued to press for an answer, Abdel-Hafiz said he did not trust the agency to protect him, according to Wright. After a U.S. attorney continued to press for an answer, Abdel-Hafiz stated: "A Muslim does not record another Muslim." Wright said that after the discussion, which was ended by Abdel-Hafiz's Dallas supervisor, he telephoned FBI headquarters in Washington and spoke with Acting Unit Chief Christopher Hamilton, who "told me I would have to understand" the Muslim agent's "perspective." According to Wright, the U.S. attorneys documented the events, believing the case would be re-visited. Wright later learned that an agent in Florida had a similar experience with Abdel-Hafiz, who refused to record a Muslim in his investigation Schipper said that probe involved the Florida professor, Al-Arian. Schippers says Wright continues to try to get his story out, but "at every step they refuse to let him talk." "He's going to have to take his job in his hand to assert his First Amendment rights," Schippers said. Another FBI whistleblower has warned of the bureau's purported counter-terror shortcomings." Veteran agent Colleen Rowley sent a letter to FBI Director Robert Mueller last week, warning that the bureau is not prepared to deal with new terrorist strikes that could result from a U.S. war with Iraq. Rowley, a 22-year veteran of the bureau's Minneapolis field office, said that Mueller had a responsibility to warn the White House that the bureau would not be able to "stem the flood of terrorism that will likely head our way in the wake of an attack on Iraq."

"Pig books banned in deference to Muslims"

Teacher shuns swine stories in class that might offend Islamic kids.

The head teacher at a school in Britain is defending her decision to ban books that contain stories about pigs because they might offend Muslim children. According to a report in the London Daily Express, teacher Barbara Harris has removed the books from classes for those under 7 years old at Park Road Junior Infant and Nursery School in Batley, West Yorkshire. Sixty percent of the students are of Pakistani or Indian origin, reports the Express, 99 percent of whom are Muslim. "Recently, the head teacher has been aware of an occasion where young Muslim children in a class were read stories about pigs," said a statement from the school. "This could have caused offense to religious sensitivities." >

"Lawmakers snub imam's opening prayer"

State rep cities Islam's tie to terrorism: "My god is not Muhammad"

Two lawmakers refused to participate in a Muslim cleric's opening prayer at a session of the Washington state legislative yesterday. Calling it "an issue of patriotism," Rep. Lois McMahan, a Republican from Gig Harbor, near Tacoma, said her decision to remain at the back of the House chamber instead of at her desk was not a protest, but a personal decision because "the religion is the focal point of the hate-American sentiment in the world." "My god is not Muhammad," McMahan said in an interview with the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. "The Islamic religion is so… part and parcel with the attack on America. I just didn't want to be there, be a part of that," she said. "Even though the mainstream Islamic religion doesn't profess to hate America, nonetheless it spawns the groups that hate America. The Seattle paper said McMahan and Rep. Cary Condotta, a Republican from Eastern Washington, left the floor during the prayer.

"Air terror by remote control"

Model planes, not just drones, latest threat

While the Pentagon is warning Americans of plans by terrorist to use drone aircraft to attack cities with chemical and biological agents, a similar threat is posed by the use radio-controlled model planes packed with explosives, reports Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.

Israeli intelligence sources say a number of Hamas terrorists were killed and injured recently while assembling an explosive device to be mounted on a radio-controlled model plane. Those sources tell the online intelligence newsletter they have had information dating back to October 2001 about Hamas, Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations' efforts to collect data about remote-controlled airplanes-mostly from the internet While the U.S. government fears terrorist may be ready to assemble larger drones already smuggled into America, it's much easier and cheaper for terrorist to build and use these smaller models. Another aspect for the use of mini-aircraft, and even short-range rockets, is the ability to use them as carriers for delivering dangerous chemical and biological agents, reports G2 bulletin. These agents can be sprayed easily by a mini-helicopter designated for crop-dusting. A British analyst warned, in a paper distributed to the intelligence community, that mini-helicopters can be launched from a backyard, a balcony, a roof top, a truck and even vessels. "They can hover over a site for at least 30 minutes and sprinkle death and mayhem," he said
